Practical Advice about Publishing Your QI Work
PublishingInterested in learning from experienced editors about how to write about quality and patient safety and get your work published in peer-reviewed journals? One of IHI's partners in the UK ---- The Health Foundation ---- conducted two webinars on this topic, full of practical advice for writing up your work, and made them freely available on their website. In the first webinar, Mary Dixon-Woods, experienced writer and editor, offers guidance on writing up results and getting them published. In the second webinar, Dr. Kaveh Shojania, editor of BMJ Quality and Safety, looks at the links between successful design of improvement initiatives and useful reporting of the results. Both webinars are presented as videos, and the slides are also available for download.
